    John Neil

    John Neil is a British author and former senior civil servant at the Home Office. Born near Reigate, where he still lives, he has a lifelong passion for history, literature, and music.

    In addition to military history, he has a keen interest in 20th-century English and American literature, particularly the publications of the Golden Cockerel Press and the works of Gay Taylor and A. E. Coppard. His book "The Bitter Fight for Italy" will be publishred in October 2025. He is currently writing a biography of Gay Taylor.

    He is a cyber security expert and advises senior executives about cyber security risks and mitigations.

    Andrew Colley

    Andrew Colley is the author of a number of books and articles about special educational needs and about social justice with respect to young people with profound and multiple learning difficulties.

    He has Masters Degrees from the Universities of Birmingham and Cambridge and from 2015 - 2019 he was Senior Lecturer in Special Education at the University of East London.

    His book "In-Patient Mental Health Care from the Asylum System to the Present Day - a lived experience of policy and practice" was published by Routledge in February 2024, and he is currently co-editing a book for Routledge about the work of Art Therapy pioneer Edward Adamson.
